Sarah has more than 12 years of professional marketing experience and has worked in Australia and London for top- and mid-tier law and accounting firms. She specialises in business development for practice areas and targeted industries, communications and PR, training programs that support business development, and managing websites, re-branding, design projects and events. She has also implemented and handled account management for key clients, including feedback programs, analysis and engagement strategy.
Sarah is a passionate, entrepreneurial, hard working and self-motivated professional who thrives in challenging environments, champions the role of marketing and communication and takes responsibility for delivering results.
Recently, Sarah was a national marketing, business development and communications manager. In this role, she was able to achieve the following:
- Managed a team of eight to lead rebranding efforts, including redesign of all corporate identity, website (including content), the firm’s positioning and narrative, and staff profiles.
- Led the firm’s marketing strategy; regularly presenting, coaching and engaging in conversation about direction, strategy and growth with senior management, lawyers and support staff.
- Created and implemented business development strategies and initiatives for practice areas and industry groups, and trained her team members to do the same.
- Managed firm communications, including engagement strategy, media releases, crisis management, social media, and was the central liaison between journalists and lawyers.
- Managed and oversaw client communications such as firm announcements, industry articles, tenders and capability statements, and thought leadership pieces.
- Development and national roll out of the firm’s key client program, including the Client Listening (feedback) initiative.
